Spooky garage rock

Lofi Sofias are a five-piece all-girl garage rock band from Flagstaff, Arizona with influences from 60s psych to 80s new wave to 90s power pop. They play mostly original songs with spooky melodies and multi-part harmonies, intellectual/sexual (frustration) lyrics, and a dollop of (fun) attitude. In their music you might hear twinges of Shocking Blue, Lee Hazelwood, the Vaselines, or Liz Phair.

Jessica Barnes writes songs, sings, and plays guitar in the Lofi Sofias. Her musical roots start in the Midwest with a pop punk trio called Echo 3 where she played bass and shared guy-girl harmonies and songwriting. They released a debut album in 2002 and toured small venues across the United States. By 2010 she had joined Wolf Ram Heart, an Ohio-based dark psychedelic pop band with David James. She added bass, keyboards, and backing vocals to their critically acclaimed 2011 album, Betrayal of Hearts, and played shows and festivals in support of the album.
